Senior Category Manager – TCG & Sports Cards - Arabic Mandatory (Saudi Arabia)
🎬 The Role
As the Senior Category Manager for Trading Card Games (TCG) & Sports Cards, you will completely own the end-to-end growth of this category across the GCC region. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the category, from initial seller acquisition and onboarding to driving ongoing seller success and overall marketplace operations. You will be the bridge between the platform and the vibrant collector community—recruiting top-tier sellers, managing community building and event presence, and owning category KPIs and the category P&L.
👤 The Responsibilities
Be the face of the platform for TCG and sports cards, acting as the go-to expert on buyer and seller dynamics, set releases, market movers, key influencers, and product nuances across Pokémon, One Piece, sports, and beyond.
Drive aggressive seller acquisition and onboarding by sourcing and recruiting the region's top sellers through social media, outbound, and in-person channels.
Lead seller success initiatives, pitching prospective partners, running onboarding sessions, and coaching them to ramp up and maximize revenue on the platform.
Manage day-to-day marketplace operations and relationship management for strategic sellers, translating their feedback into product and operational improvements by working closely with internal marketing and product teams.
Foster community building and manage regional event presence by attending and hosting meet-ups, trade nights, tournaments, and collector events across the GCC.
Accelerate category growth by designing and executing category-specific marketing campaigns to drive massive buyer demand.
Maintain full accountability for the business unit by tracking performance, owning category KPIs and the P&L, and using data to constantly iterate on growth strategy.
🎓 The Skills & Competencies
Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English.
Deeply embedded in the TCG and/or sports cards ecosystem as a collector, breaker, vendor, or content creator.
Active participant in physical and online events, including card shows, breaks, and digital collector circles both regionally and globally.
Sharp trend-spotting instincts, knowing what is trending before the algorithm does.
Strong project management skills with the ability to own strategy and execution across both sides of the marketplace (sellers and buyers).
