Our client, a Y-Combinator-backed, category-defining startup in logistics technology, is seeking a seeking a high-impact Sales Development Representative (SDR) to lead their outbound efforts from Lisbon.
This role is for someone who loves the thrill of the chase. You must be extremely comfortable on the phone, spending your day initiating cold outreaches to secure sales introductory meetings for the client's commercial leadership. This isn't just about "making calls"; it is about strategically navigating organizations to find the pain points that this SaaS logistics platform can solve. We need someone who is resilient, persuasive, and ready to contribute to a world-class sales organization.
👤 The Responsibilities
You will be the engine of the regional sales pipeline, focusing on the GCC and Levant markets from day one. This is a high-velocity, outbound-heavy role where you are responsible for the "front end" of the sales cycle. You will identify target accounts, navigate complex organizational structures to find decision-makers, and use a mix of cold calling, emailing, and social selling to open doors. Your success is measured by the quality and quantity of introductory meetings you secure for the commercial leadership. This is a high-impact position for a persistent "hunter" looking to master the art of SaaS prospecting in a fast-growing startup.
Relentless Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls and personalized emails to identify and engage potential clients.
Meeting Generation: Focus on one primary goal: securing high-quality introductory meetings for the client's leadership and commercial teams.
Lead Qualification: Use strategic questioning to qualify prospects and ensure they face the operational challenges the platform solves.
CRM Discipline: Maintain impeccable records in the CRM, ensuring every lead and interaction is tracked and followed up on.
Market Mapping: Identify key stakeholders within target organizations—from Operations Managers to CEOs—and tailor the pitch accordingly.
🎓 The Skills & Competencies
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in an outreach or client-facing role (e.g., Recruitment, Real Estate, or Inside Sales for SaaS/Marketplaces like delivery apps).
Phone Mastery: You are "unfazed" by the phone. You know how to handle objections and stay motivated through high-volume calling.
Language Fluency: Fluency in English and Arabic is a requirement. You must be able to navigate professional conversations in both languages with ease.
Persistence: You don’t take "no" for an answer; you see it as a starting point for a conversation.
